Catherine's Tea
The
Catherine McAuley Center in Cedar Rapids, founded by the Sisters of
Mercy and friends within the community in 1989, empowers individuals to
achieve financial, emotional and social independence through
transitional housing and educational programs. In support of these
efforts, the McAuley Center joined with Frontier Herbs of Norway, Iowa,
to develop a unique product, a special tea called Catherine's
Comfortable Tea. Proceeds from the tea directly benefit the Center's
programs.
